Following the success of the last years philosophy evening, the Philosophy & Ethics Department of Torquay Boys Grammar School invited us again this year to talk on the topic “The Concept of God is incompatible with Scientific Reasoning”. The evening was opened with a thought provoking presentation from the sixth former students (Yr 12 & 13). The other speakers were Dr Southgate from the Department of Theology & Religion of Exeter university, an evolutionary biologist and a physicist with Christian Background. It was followed by open house discussion.
